BiRD Group One Year On
In January 2021, at the height of the pandemic and crisis in hospitals, Dr. Tess Lawrie, using her years of research expertise, produced a Rapid Review detailing a number of studies that indicated that ivermectin was effective in treating Covid-19.
Joining up with dozens of medical researchers and practitioners, BiRD Group was founded. One of their first achievements was to produce a Protocol for the prevention and treatment of Covid-19.
So much has happened since then.
The refusal of the UK government to take a serious look at ivermectin and other safe, repurposed medicines helped propel BiRD Group into a massive people-powered campaign with tens of thousands of followers, dozens of affiliate organisations, and led to the creation of brand new health-focused entities.
This includes The International Ivermectin for Covid-19 Conference, World Ivermectin Day and not least, the massive success that is the World Council for Health.

There is now far more data that supports the conclusions and many more protocols. Worldwide, many governments have successfully helped the health of their nation with ivermectin.
