In the setting of poor clinical response, advanced disease, or obesity, higher doses should be used (target 0.4–0.6 mg/kg)
6 mg at night for 5 days
80 mg/day (unless contraindicated)
Three times daily (gargle do not swallow); if available
For household or close contacts of a COVID-19 patient
18 mg – repeat dose in 48 hours
Ivermectin has been found to have highly potent anti-viral and anti-inflammatory prop- erties and many randomized trials and data from countries that have adopted ivermectin all show large reductions in time to recovery, hospitaliza- tions and death.

The safety of ivermectin in pregnancy has not been established. Particularly the use in the 1st trimester should be discussed with your doctor beforehand.
